RELIC // REFUNDS & CANCELLATION

Refunds & Cancellation

Made-to-order work needs clear lines. Here they are, including the cases where you are covered no matter what.

Last updated 28 August 2026

Cancelling an order

You can cancel within 24 hours of paying, provided printing has not already started, and get the full amount back — no reason needed, no deduction.

After that the piece is on the printer. Because it was made for your order specifically, it cannot go back on a shelf, and cancellation is no longer possible. If you are quick, we are reasonable: email as soon as you know, and if the print has genuinely not begun we will stop it whatever the clock says.

If something arrives damaged, wrong or faulty

This is covered in full, always. Tell us within 48 hours of deliveryand send photographs of the piece and the packaging — the packaging matters, because it is what settles a courier claim.

You choose the outcome:

  • A replacement, printed and dispatched at no cost to you.
  • A full refund, including what you paid for shipping.

If we ask for the piece back, we pay the return postage. You will never be asked to cover the cost of our mistake or a courier’s.

This covers a piece that:

  • arrived broken, cracked or warped;
  • is not what you ordered, in design, size or colour;
  • has a printing fault — missing layers, split seams, a part that will not move as it should;
  • never turned up at all.

What is not covered

  • Changing your mind once printing has started. The piece exists only because you asked for it.
  • Normal variation— visible layer lines, small colour shifts between batches, minor differences in finish or seam placement. These are how printed and hand-finished objects are, and the termsdescribe them in more detail. A piece that is genuinely flawed is not “variation”, and we will not use that word to avoid a refund.
  • Damage after delivery— drops, heat, sun, or use the piece was not made for.
  • Delivery that failed because the address was wrong or nobody could take the parcel after repeated attempts. Ask us and we will re-send it; the second postage is chargeable.

Forge commissions

A commission is made for one person and cannot be resold, so the terms are tighter. You can cancel free of charge at any point before you approve the final design. Once you approve it and production begins, the commission is non-refundable.

The exception is the same as everywhere else on this page: if a commissioned piece arrives damaged or does not match the design you approved, it is replaced or refunded in full.

How a refund reaches you

Refunds go back through Razorpay to whatever you paid with — the same card, the same UPI ID, the same account. We cannot send it anywhere else, which is a rule of the payment system rather than ours.

We issue it as soon as the refund is agreed. It then takes about 5–7 working days to appear, depending on your bank. If it has not landed after that, write to us with your order number and we will chase it with the gateway.

Asking for one

Email relic@lowkeyloud.cowith your order number — it is in your confirmation email and starts RLC-— and a sentence about what went wrong. Photographs if the piece arrived damaged. You can reply directly to any email the studio has sent you; it reaches the same place.

Talking to a person

Every policy here has an email address behind it. Write to relic@lowkeyloud.co with your order number and you will get a reply from the studio, not a queue.
